We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Well, I shall share my technique. After all, if you love doing something, you love sharing it
What I do, I have a base colour which is a mid-tone for the hair. Then, I do a lighter tone on top, with a 1px brush in photoshop, with shape dynamics on. I feather in the way of hair, so you have to have a basic understanding of how hair falls to pull it off. Next, I use a darker tone to fill in where dark shades would be, and then I choose a highlight colour and put that in the centre shine bit, which is where focus will be. Then, I use a large dodge tool (about same width as characters eye, adds subliminal character) and lighten it over with about 50% effect. After that, I make the brushes smaller twice, and finally put some 1px zig-zags in the centre to give a lively, electrical feel
